Shop interior with clothes displayed on rails

What leaves the till should leave the stock at the same instant.

Payments, inventory, loyalty and music on the same base. The sales assistant sees the real stock of the other shop, the owner sees the day’s margin, and the reorder proposes itself.

What breaks today

The four points where an operation loses money.

These situations do not come from a lack of rigour: they come from tools that do not talk to each other. Each one is solved by shared data rather than by another procedure.

Theoretical stock lies

Between the quarterly count and the reality of the shelf, the gap widens without anyone seeing it. You promise a customer an item, hunt for twenty minutes, and it left last week.

Your best customer is anonymous at the till

They have come every month for three years. At checkout they are one receipt line like any other: no history, no size, no preference, no reason to come back.

Reordering runs on guesswork

Orders are decided on the impression of an empty shelf rather than on observed turnover. Overstock sleeps in the back while the sizes that move are out.

The music is whatever radio the opener likes

The soundtrack at 10 in the morning is not the soundtrack of Saturday afternoon. In practice it never changes, and it does not sound like the brand.

A typical day

What the suite does while you run the business.

  1. 019:30 am

Opening. Mood IQ switches to the morning programme. Yesterday’s report is waiting: revenue, margin, items sold, reorder suggestions to approve.

  2. 0212:15 pm

The lunchtime rush. Every sale decrements stock to the second, including for the shop next door consulting the same availability.

  3. 034:40 pm

A customer asks for a size that is out. The assistant sees it in the back of the second shop, has it put aside and takes payment without leaving the profile.

  4. 047:45 pm

Close in a few minutes. VAT split by rate, till variances traced, journal entries ready for the accountants.

We stopped doing a stock count to find out what we had. We know, and we order accordingly.
